  We had the most magical wedding reception all thanks to Barbara, Klaus and the King Ludwigs team. It could have been a big disaster if it wasn't for Barbara, who was extremely organized, encouraging and assuring. The team did more than hosting the reception, they helped us with set up and packing up( we did our own decorating and there was A LOT of decorating ), entertained the guests, organized car park, table arrangement and so much more. They were also so flexible and so understanding. We had a lot of trouble with confirming guest numbers. At one point it was going to be close to 80 guests, when we started at 60-65. They pretty much did half the wedding planning for us. (we didn't have a wedding planner and my husband and I are not the most organized pair :( )
  The food was just amazing. They were very flexible with the menu as well. They would cook anything for us. The Bavarian entertainers gave us the most amazing time. It was a reception where participation was 100%! So many people gave us feedback telling us how much fun and special it was.
  It we could give 10 or 1000 stars on google review we would! We cannot thank Barbara, Klaus and the King Ludwigs team enough!
  P.s We would love to upload some photos to show everyone what an amazing job they had done for us but the wedding was only 2 weeks ago. We haven't got the photos :(

  The view is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. We were served by the lovely Nicole, her service was spectacular and she recommended some beautiful beers specific to my taste which were spot on! Food was filling and flavoursome. The atmosphere was just right, rarely would I rate somewhere this highly. Well done king Ludwigs German bar!

  We got married at King Ludwigs a little over 4 years ago for our own little Oktoberfest experience. It was a fantastic venue with great food, atmosphere and entertainment. Our guests still comment about what a great time they had at our wedding. We return as often as we can to catch up with Barb, Klaus and their lovely family who all made our wedding a wonderful evening. We returned again last weekend for a kid free dinner before our 3rd child arrives to find nothing has changed, everyone is still happy & very friendly, the food was fantastic and hosts were incredible. Thank you to Barb and your team for being so wonderful and creating fantastic memories for us, we will return with baby no.3 soon and will be sure to drink the German Beer you gave us in celebration when he/she arrives :-)

  Had Xmas lunch it was a set menu and the food was as always fantastic. Not sure what these one and two stars are about but we live locally and have always had a great meal and we are fussy. On Xmas day we are orphans and always choose a place to have lunch, last year it was the next hotel in Brisbane and was average. So this year we chose King Ludwigs. Barbara and her staff are always polite and attentive, the guy that plays the accordion music is always friendly and creates a great atmosphere, and John this year the local acoustic guitarist filled us with music of the 50,60 and 60's undoubtedly the best Xmas lunch we have had.
  
  For those giving 1 and 2 star ratings don't come back we don't want you in Maleny. Goodbye.

  Awesome food full of flavours, and great beers to match the cuisine.
  The staff were super friendly and efficient.
